Um die universelle Geschwisterlichkeit aufzubauen und dafür zu leben, müssen wir einen sehr wichtigen inneren Schritt tun: unsere Liebe muss über unseren Glauben hinausgehen.
Jeder Mensch, auf jedem Punkt unseres Planeten, von jedem Breitengrad aus, ist uns Bruder oder Schwester.
Wir Christen glauben an einen Gott, der sich zwar einem auserwählten Volk offenbart, dabei aber nicht von allen anderen Völker abgewandt hat. Er pflanzte Samen, ein und derselben Wahrheit, in alle Kulturen und Religionen ein, Samen, die die Annäherung und Verkündigung der Wahrheit schlechthin ermöglichen, die Jesus Christus ist.
So zu denken ermöglicht uns, eine geschwisterliche Beziehung zu jeder Person, jeder Kultur oder Überzeugung. Eine universelle Brüderlichkeit mit allen aufzubauen bedeutet, keine Barrieren zu kennen, die uns daran hindern, in einer Welt zu leben, in der wir uns alle als gleichberechtigte Mitglieder einer großen menschlichen Familie wertschätzen.

Para construir la fraternidad universal y vivirla, podemos dar un paso interior muy importante: tener un amor que va más allá de nuestras convicciones.

To build universal brotherhood and live for it, we can take a very important inner step: to have a love that goes beyond our convictions.
Every person, from any point on the planet, of any latitude, is our brother or sister.
We Christians believe in a God who revealed himself to a chosen people, but who has not abandoned all other peoples. He planted seeds of the same truth in various cultures and religions, seeds that make it possible to approach and announce the truth par excellence that is Jesus Christ.

Per costruire la fratellanza universale e vivere per essa, dobbiamo fare un passaggio interiore molto importante: avere un amore che vada oltre le nostre convinzioni.
