In Matthäus 25, 31-46 beschreibt Jesus, wie das endgültige Gericht, dh. unsere Begegnung mit Ihm aussehen wird.
Wir werden gefragt, wie groß unsere Nächsteliebe war, ob wir Jesu Gegenwart in jedem Menschen erkannt haben.
Als Chiara Lubich einmal diesen Evangeliumstext kommentierte, verglich sie Jesus mit einem Lehrer, der seinen Schülern die Fragen der Abschlussprüfung im Vorhinein zeigt. So kann sich jeder gut auf diesen Tag vorbereiten. Würden wir diesen Satz des Evangeliums leben, indem wir Hunger stillen, Durstigen zu trinken geben, Pilger willkommen hießen, Nackte bekleideten, Kranke und Inhaftierte besuchten, dann wären wir in unserer Abschlussprüfung erfolgreich.
Jede Einzelne dieser Aufzählungen hat verschiedene Bedeutungen. Betrachten wir z.B den Satz: zu essen und zu trinken geben. Hierbei könnte es sich um Hunger nach materieller oder spiritueller Nahrung handeln; nach Wissen, nach Gerechtigkeit; ein Hunger aufgrund eines Mangels an Zuwendung, ein Durst nach aufrichtiger Freundschaft, usw.
Alle Menschen haben Bedürfnisse: Arme und Reiche. Und wir können allen so begegnen, wie wir Jesus selbst begegnen würden.
SALIR AL ENCUENTRO DE LOS NECESITADOS
En Mateo 25,31-46, Jesús describe cómo será el juicio final; es decir, cómo será nuestro encuentro con Él.
Seremos interrogados sobre cuanto hemos amado al prójimo, reconociendo la presencia de Jesús en cada uno.
En una ocasión, Chiara Lubich, comentando este pasaje del Evangelio de Mateo, comparó a Jesús con un maestro que les dice a sus alumnos cuáles serán las preguntas del examen final. De esta manera, todos pueden prepararse bien para ese día.
Si vivimos esta pagina del Evangelio, dando de comer a quien tiene hambre, de beber a quien tiene sed, acogiendo al peregrino, visitando a los enfermos, yendo al encuentro de quien está encerado por el pecado, tendremos éxito en nuestro examen final.
Cada una de estas actitudes tienen muchos significados. Por ejemplo: dar de comer y beber. Puede ser él hambre de alimento material o espiritual; puede ser la sed de saber, de justicia; puede ser hambre debido a la falta de afecto o la sed de una amistad sincera, etc.
Todos tienen necesidades: pobres y ricos. Y a todos podemos acogerlos como acogeríamos a Jesús en persona.
HELP THE NEEDY
In Matthew 25, 31-46, Jesus describes what the final judgment will be, that is, what our encounter with Him will be like.
We will be asked how much we loved others, recognizing the presence of Jesus in each one.
Once, Chiara Lubich, commenting on this passage from the Gospel of Matthew, compared Jesus to a teacher who tells his students what the questions of the final exam will be. That way, everyone can prepare well for that day.
If we live this page of the Gospel, feeding those who are hungry, giving water to those who are thirsty, welcoming the pilgrim, dressing those who are naked, visiting the sick, reaching out to those imprisoned by sin, we will succeed in our final examination.
Each of these attitudes has many meanings. For example: feed and drink. It can be the hunger for material or spiritual food; may be the thirst for knowledge, justice; it may be hunger due to lack of affection or the thirst for sincere friendship, and so on.
Everyone has needs: poor and rich. And we can all welcome them as we would welcome Jesus in person.
ANDARE INCONTRO A QUANTI HANNO BISOGNO
In Matteo 25,31-46, Gesù descrive come sarà il giudizio finale, cioè come sarà il nostro incontro con Lui.
Ci verrà chiesto quanto abbiamo amato il nostro prossimo, riconoscendo la presenza di Gesù in ognuno.
Una volta, Chiara Lubich, commentando questo brano del Vangelo di Matteo, ha paragonato Gesù a un insegnante che svela ai suoi allievi quali saranno le domande dell'esame finale. In questo modo, tutti possono prepararsi bene per quel giorno.
Se vivremo questa pagina del Vangelo, dando da mangiare a coloro che hanno fame, da bere a coloro che hanno sete, accogliendo il pellegrino, vestendo i nudi, visitando i malati, andando incontro a coloro che sono imprigionati dal peccato, riusciremo con esito nel nostro esame finale.
Ognuno di questi atteggiamenti ha molti significati. Ad esempio: dare da mangiare e da bere. Potrebbe essere una fame di cibo materiale o spirituale; può essere la sete di conoscenza, di giustizia; può essere fame a causa della mancanza di affetto o sete di amicizia sincera, e così via.
Tutti hanno bisogni: poveri e ricchi. E tutti noi possiamo accoglierli come accoglieremmo Gesù stesso.
IR AO ENCONTRO DOS QUE SE ENCONTRAM EM NECESSIDADE

ALLER À LA RENCONTRE DE CEUX QUI EN ONT BESOIN
Dans Matthieu 25,31-46, Jésus décrit ce que sera le jugement final, c'est-à-dire à quoi ressemblera notre rencontre avec Lui.
On nous demandera combien nous avons aimé notre prochain, reconnaissant la présence de Jésus en chacun.
