Seien wir ein sichtbares Zeichen der Liebe
In 1. Korinther 13 bekräftigt Paulus, dass es drei wesentliche Tugenden gibt, die uns direkt mit Gott verbinden: Glaube, Hoffnung und Liebe. Aber die größte von ihnen ist die Liebe.
Glaube und Hoffnung verbinden uns vor allem mit Gott. Sie bringen uns einander näher, wenn wir den gleichen Glauben bekennen und die gleiche Hoffnung haben.
Die Liebe hingegen verbindet uns miteinander und gleichzeitig mit Gott. Vielleicht ist das der Grund, warum Paulus sie für größer hält.
Aber es gibt noch einen weiteren Grund: Wenn wir Gott von Angesicht zu Angesicht gegenüberstehen, sind Glaube und Hoffnung nicht mehr nötig, weil wir das Ziel bereits erreicht haben. Was die Liebe betrifft, so wird sie für immer bleiben, denn das Paradies ist die volle Verwirklichung der gegenseitigen Liebe.
Lasst uns bezeugen, dass die Liebe unter allen möglich ist.

En 1º Corintios 13, Pablo dice que hay tres virtudes esenciales que nos unen directamente a Dios: la fe, la esperanza y el amor. Pero la más grande de ellas es el amor.
La fe y la esperanza nos unen ante todo con Dios. Nos unen cuando profesamos la misma fe y tenemos la misma esperanza.
El amor, a su vez, nos une a los demás y a Dios al mismo tiempo. Quizá sea por esto que Pablo lo considera más grande.
Pero hay otro motivo más: cuando estamos frente a frente con Dios, la fe y la esperanza ya no serán necesarias, porque ya habremos llegado a la meta. En cuanto al amor, permanecerá eternamente, porque el Paraíso es la plena realización del amor recíproco.
Demos testimonio de que el amor es posible entre todos.
BEAR WITNESS TO LOVE
In 1 Corinthians 13 Paul says that there are still three essential virtues that bind us directly to God: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of them is love.
Faith and hope unite us primarily to God. They bring us closer to each other when we profess the same faith and have the same hope.
Love, in turn, unites us to each other, and us to God at the same time. Perhaps that's why Paul considers it greater.
But there is another reason: when we will be face to face with God, faith and hope will no longer be necessary, for we will have already reached the goal. As for love, it will remain eternally, as Paradise is the full realization of mutual love.
Let us witness that love is possible among all.

O amor, por sua vez, nos une entre nós e a Deus ao mesmo tempo. Talvez seja por esse motivo que Paulo o considera maior.
Mas existe ainda outro motivo: quando estivermos frente a frente com Deus, a fé e a esperança não serão mais necessárias, pois já teremos alcançado a meta. Quanto ao amor, permanecerá eternamente, pois o Paraíso é a realização plena do amor mútuo.
Testemunhemos que o amor é possível entre todos.

DAWAJMY ŚWIADECTWO MIŁOŚCI
W 1 Liście do Koryntian (rozdz. 13) św. Paweł stwierdza, że istnieją trzy podstawowe cnoty, które łączą nas bezpośrednio z Bogiem: wiara, nadzieja i miłość. Ale największą z nich jest miłość.
Wiara i nadzieja jednoczą nas przede wszystkim z Bogiem. Zbliżają nas do siebie, gdy wyznajemy tę samą wiarę i mamy tę samą nadzieję.
Miłość natomiast jednoczy nas ze sobą i z Bogiem. Być może dlatego św. Paweł uważa ją za największą.
Ale jest jeszcze jeden powód: kiedy staniemy twarzą w twarz z Bogiem, wiara i nadzieja nie będą już potrzebne, ponieważ będziemy u celu. Natomiast miłość pozostanie na zawsze, ponieważ Raj jest pełną realizacją miłości wzajemnej.
Dawajmy świadectwo, że miłość jest możliwa między nami wszystkimi.
